Hi, I'm Holly,

I am a Fine Art graduate of Falmouth university and have been running my own little business making and selling my art from my home studio in Bristol since 2020.

Most of my work revolves around an aquatic theme, although I do occasionally make land animals such as snails, elephants and dinosaurs. I have future plans to make hippos, rhinos, and many more land and sea creatures!

My aquatic animal obsession began in 2021 when I made a 6 piece installation of cetacean sculptures to enter into the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation’s 'Wildlife Artist of the Year' competition. My artwork achieved a “highly commended” badge from the judges. You can view that artwork here.

All my pieces are hand-sculpted from scratch, meaning they are all entirely unique. I spend hours taking care to focus on tiny details in my sculptures, giving them all a different sense of character and movement. I also use photographs as references for sculpting my creatures so that I can capture life-like depictions and make them anatomically correct.

I am also available to work as a ceramics tutor- contact me for inquiries or to request my CV.
